Research
My research deals with the development of novel algorithms to analyze data in domains like medicine, biometrics and biology. I have dealt with many different aspects of data mining, like feature selection in high-dimensional spaces, data integration, mining complex graphs and networks and information-theoretic clustering. Furthermore I have worked on extremely efficient algorithms that are supported by the use of graphics processors.
