Reviewing

I reviewed and assisted reviewing in some major scientific conferences and journals like SIGMOD, VLDB, CIKM, ACM GIS and some more (stopped counting quite some time ago).

Projects:

Theseus CTC

One of our last projects within the CTC was the creation of supplementary tools for the Use Case Medico by processing computer tomography (CT) scans in order to apply the possibility of similarity search upon image data. The image below illustrates the concept of a possible workflow.

R&D Cooperation with Sendsor GmbH

Lack of exercise is a rising and wide spread problem. The convalescence of diseases like obesity, cardiac insufficiency, diabetes and bone healing are addicted to a controlled dose of the patient’s activity. In this project we provide knowledge and support for the analysis and monitoring of a patient’s activity.
